Rob Davids is an aspiring voice actor from rural Ohio who has no professional experience in voice work, but was inspired by Evil Idol to do voice work as something more than messing around. Initially in shock at winning a spot in the contest, he now repeatedly mumbles, "Oh crap, oh crap, I actually got a spot," and paces confusedly, with a sense of unease. As an electronics and computer nerd, Rob Davids has no business even trying to compete in this contest, but this underdog doesn't much care for expectations. He intends to take a run at the title, in his typical awkward and ungraceful way.
